Skype’s official app just appeared in iTunes and so far it’s the best way to make a call from your iPhone over the web, no cellphone carrier needed. On booting up the app, enter your Sykpe creds and your contacts list is brought up. The app’s interface is intuitive and test calls had good quality. Here are some screenshots:
